Dive Team:

The Logan County Sheriff’s Office Dive Rescue Team consists of approximately 12 divers and support staff.  A majority of the staff, mostly volunteers, have been trained by Dive Rescue International in Dive Rescue I and Dive Rescue II.

S.R.T. (Special Response Team):

The S.R.T. Team consists of approximately 10 members.  Team members have attended an F.B.I. SWAT school or equivalent training.  Other team members have had specialized training in deploying other types of munitions such as tear gas.

Logan County Sheriff’s Posse:

The Sheriff’s Posse has been in existence since 1962.  The Sheriff’s Posse has 12 members.  The Posse has been utilized over the years for various functions and emergencies and has proven to be a valuable asset to the Office of the County Sheriff. Job duties include dances, high school sports, Logan County Fair, and other security activities through out the year.  For more information or to join the Sheriff's Posse, contact the Sheriff's Office.
